1 II PU Preparatory/Annual Examination Important Instructions For Students Take your admission ticket, ID card, Pen, Pencil, eraser, scale on all the exam dates Student should be at Examination center 45 minutes prior commencement of the Exam Writing pad, any electronics gadgets, scientific calculators, watches are not allowed Only simple calculators are allowed Listen to the instructions given by the invigilator in the examination Center Do not write anything on the question booklet except your register number Make use of 15 minutes time for reading the questions in the question paper and then recap and plan Get the signature from the room invigilator on your admission ticket and answer booklet Relevant boxes to be filled in the face page of the answer booklet(like subject, subject code, register number) Do not use correction pen while writing the answers Plan to complete the exam in two and a half hours and remaining 30 minutes to check and verify Make use of right side part of the page for rough work Answer to the point and legibly. Underline the keywords in the answer do not use whitener or correction liquid After each answer, draw a bold line Write register number, page number on each page on the answer booklet Write main answer booklet number additional answer sheet number in the space provided on the main answer booklet and enter additional sheet number in the invigilator s Diary also Try to answer all the questions start with the questions which you are confident Make sure to enter additional sheets no in the invigilator s Diary without fail. 3 Note: Important instructions to be followed for final Theory examinations ENGLISH (CODE 02) Structure your answer in a fixed line Focus more on poetry Section as the questions paper has 4 one mark. One 6 marks 3 four mark questions come from poetry section totally 22 marks While answering questions on voice form always remember that the passive form will have at least 2 parts. 6 COMPUTER SCIENCE (CODE - 41) For C ++ programming questions explain the concept with programming example If you do not know the programming concept atleast write the syntax, example and definition Concept related terminologies to be underlined All the theory related questions to be written point wise While writing the K-map resolve the expressions step by step don t write reduced expressions directly While writing algorithm in data structure write the step correctly In diagram related questions write the neat labelled diagram Attend extra questions in all the sections For one mark questions write precise answers, definitions to be followed from NCERT text book

7 Electronics (CODE - 40) Write relevant circuit diagrams wherever necessary Symbols for components and the corresponding alphabets near the symbols o (ex: L for inductor) circuit diagram should be legible Give equal spacing between pin numbers when IC pin diagram is drawn Ensure that Ground connection is shown wherever circuit diagram is drawn Draw rows and columns for truth tables Write IC name inside pin diagram of IC Current direction should be written wherever necessary in circuit diagrams Use scale while writing block diagrams Arrow marks should be written in block diagrams to indicate flow/path Practice problem as per blueprint instructions given in the classroom by the lecturers Practice all previous year questions papers from 2014 to 2018 Practice 8 questions papers from revised handbook of Electronics Write in points When explanation is asked There will be total 37 questions in the question paper.
